Hmm

One of my first regression shoujo manhwa. Glad I finally got to see the ending. If I don’t overthink it’s 10/10 from me.
But… I have a problem with why Aria was chosen? What right did she have to get regressed? She was truly dumb in her first life. She was not a decent person even without the manipulation. She treated everyone around her horribly. She was neither smart nor hardworking. But she was given an opportunity.
Cain’s death was also very tragic to me. In life #1 he merely beheaded a person that tried to kill his sister. Other than that, it seems like he did nothing. In the current timeline he had indecent attitude towards Aria. But he never acted on that. Not to mention, he was redeeming himself. Same goes for the count. He took a prostitute with a bastard daughter as his main wife and spoiled them with wealth, but died like that.
There are many more things that left me feeling troubled.
Well anyways, if I just don’t think into it too much it’s a nice story.

Same, when I first read it I love it but when reading for the second time, I started wondering about the personality of the character and the plot too. There's a plot hole here and there and things that didn't make sense and how I was bothered by aria attitude even though she lives a second life her attitude still seems to come off as a brat from time to time and how the count ending is unfortunate as well since he doesn't actually that bad considering how aria can spend so much money in luxury from the first and second life time aside from emotional support. It's just like you say it's fun if you read it without overthinking it.

She regressed because of her bio dad who was part of an influence family ( i forgot what their title was i read it a long time ago) Remember the ml said royal family members always had a power. that's why the og finance of ml also got 2nd chance at the end
Also fl sister manipulated her and the people around her . When she got 2nd chance she changed her lifestyle and decided to revenge on her sister
I hope it helps to understand the story better

Her dad doesn’t have any blood relation with royal family. His mom (fl’s grandmother) was forced to marry a royal prince even though she was already pregnant with him (fl’s dad). Isis, the girl who got the 2nd chance at the end, had had blood relations with royal family, though it’s distant. FL’s powers were chalked up, stating that she was blessed my god. The fl, being manipulated or not she kept harassing and abusing her maids, and was unwilling to learn manners even before Miele (the villain) sends her maids to manipulate her. Her brother Cain, well, he had inappropriate intention towards Fl but he never acted upon it.

i think what op means is why aria all of all people? Not all royal family given that power as far as I know the ml also explain only a few of the royal family members have that kind of power. And also aria isn't even a royal blood her grandmother just Baptiste (i think? I forgot the word) from holy water for marrying the royal family. And yes I know ml said that either royal family and the people who bath in holy water for marrying the royal family can have the power but like in aria case is like a slim chance for having that power considering it was her grandmother who received the holy water and she's from the 3rd generation aka the grandchild so I guess it makes sense for op to question why aria of all people. Also towards the end it mention god give her power for some reason or something but I never really understood why it has to be aria. i think the explanation lacking a bit but oh well aria is the protagonist so.. and considering how lady isis (i think? Her name i forgot) is also reborn into the new body doesn't really explain why the power given to her either. I think the author just doing whatever and just choosing the explanation because god want it to be that way for greater good or something. But personally I think the author just want to spice the plot up and how they want lady isis to be the partner of king croa.

I would say that Cain deserves less credit in his second lifetime. The idea of supporting the attempted murder of your parent isn't acceptable, even if they are your sibling. He has also taken part in treason which is also not ok. I would call the 2nd life the opposite of redemption.

In the first timeline, as you said, he just beheaded someone who attempted to kill his sister - very chill, reasonable, and demure. Compared to the 2nd life, this is nothing. Practically speaking, many would label this as morally neutral or positive. 1st life Cain > 2nd life Cain

The count taking in a prostitute and her child isn't an act of kindness either, it's a transaction. He was getting the prostitute's services in return for that, alongside her obedience. It wasn't an intended act of charity/kindness. Men in power find an appeal in having a (typically) younger, attractive woman at their side. It gives them that further confidence boost. Considering that in his first marriage get was already tired of other nobles attempting to gain power through him, marrying a lowly woman instead of a noble is an easier way of having a pretty woman at his side who will comply with his wishes.
