hmm, i thought that it showed that she, despite her actions, was still infatuated by his mother, and still wanted to torment her through him. i may be wrong though, but it would've shown her complexity as a character. she's a total bitch, but she's amazing in her way as a character, i should say that.
...so uh, I lost track of the plot. Why is the queen so hellbent on killing the uke and essentially destroying the country? :v
