Ok I've reread this like 100 times and I still have no idea what Karlyles younger brothers boyfriend and Ash's relationship was. Can someone explain it to me

    Basically Ash had feelings for Nick before (in another story named Eggs Benedict) and still did at the start of DTR. Ash only decided to help Karlyle as a favour for Nick because it would make Nick happy

    + I’d recommend reading the novel for DTR to understand it better, and Eggs Benedict (if you can find it )
