my running theory is that the death of the duchess was on purpose and whoever caused her death probably has connections to the church and had to seem like odette was his daughter but in actuality she is and is beris older twin. idk if this makes sense but thats what it seems like to me and makes the most sense

I want them to be twins as well. My running theory is that maybe the reason Odette is so frail and doesn't have the Grizelle strength is maybe because Beri took that strength in the womb since she seems to somehow be stronger than the three brothers even without formal training for the majority of her life. And my other theory about the paternity test is that the church did it and maybe because they are aligned with the empress (who is clearly an antagonist) somehow they tried to mess it up.

When the duchess showed up, i say she looks more like Odette rather than berri. Berri looks more like the duke and considering how they're of the same age i thought
"maybe twins? The duchess could have twins and they didn't know about it?"
But then at the beginning of the story, they did a paternity test and they weren't biologically related so my theory got debunked.
I wish it's something like, the duchess did have twins but someone conspire against the duke family and killed the duchess with an intention to kill both babies too. And that perpetrator have a degree of control over the mage who did the paternity test (someone like the empress? Since she seem to be the last boss) And Odette is actually the daughter of the Duchess too.
That would be glorious, i mainly want that to happen so the 3 brothers could wallow in deep regret, guilt and sorrow. I'm not entirely pleased with the dule either but he's making amends so i can forgive that
I feel bad for juliet(?) let's have a second of silence for her miserable cannon fodder life. Hope it gets better with her
