Hating ML has nothing with mc being independent, simply ML is the better of evil options, I already wrote a long paragraph on why I hate the ML and it has nothing to do with his circumstances or mc being a independent from men.

I simply think he's incompatible with mc and goes through no character development or proper apology to make him likable and mc is only attracted to his looks and annoyed by everything that comes out of his mouth just screams bad writing and forced development
I'm all for MC ending up with another guy who is openly very affectionate and can make hr forget (or almost forget) the hardships of her past lives and showers her with love.....HOWEVER, why is everyone hating on ML? He is as opposed to marriage and being open with his feelings as MC...at least so far up to chapter 26. So, why are we applauding MC for being a strong independent woman who is more focused on business than societal norms and then hating on ML who seems to be fighting for his life literally aainst the princess' schemes and he is entangled in political webs so marriage isn't a thing he is aspiring for.
If he played around with MC after promising her love, fair enough, let's get the pitchforks. But dude is basically only existing and everyone hates him. You can hope that someone else is the ML to fully love MC without any restraint but saying black haired dude is bad makes no sense
