i've read the novel first before i read this, and i remember i cried a bit (i mean a bit too much lol) bcs the novel is wayyy too heartbreaking.
so when i scrolled through the manhua I was like, 'oh, okay? not bad hmm?'
I think I read too much angst these days so this manhua didn't make me angry/ sad as much as I thought at first
ANDD Y'ALL DEF HAVE TO READ THAT NOVEL ABT YAN MINGXIU AND ZHOU XIANG, bcs it's much bitter and heartbreaking than this.
anyway, the artstyle is very breathtaking and beautiful, ngl i spent more time admiring the art than the actual story lol
