After reading orv, I become suspicious of unique characters when entering a fantasy novel they read but never knew who the author is so based on your amazing theory, what if the author is MC herself? When you said ‘as her coping mechanism’ what really, what if she wrote the story herself and imagined a fantasy world where everyone loved her, maybe that’s why the original MC in that novel suddenly gets no love but was okay with it because she too got attached to her.
As for the question when or how did she wrote it between the timeline and now foreshadowing. Honestly, even reading orv did not made me expect that ‘SHE’ is the author all along and there was even no flashback of her writing the novel so it me the same with this one where another timeline or some phenomenon happened where MC wrote the story during the years of her miserable in her og family

Idk who or what orv is but i kinda think the author is not the MC but rather a character in the “novel” in the future. Like lets sayy…..in the future mc got married, and a powerful being was the one that made this whole world up for her so she can stay happy cuz they love her so much
