Exactly!! I only like these kinds of stories when the problem is properly addressed, the ML aknowledges and regrets what he did wrong and the MC doesn't just brush it off and has the opportunity (and time) to heal and forgive him. Otherwise it's just rape for the sake of smut without ANY plot (not saying this isn't exactly that).
It just doesn't make sense here, it's like one moment the MC is traumatized and hurt by what the ML is doing and then suddenly in the next scene it's like it never happened. Like, it's not even remotely aknowledged. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING
The thing is that the author went with bdsm dom/sub play with no structure. So, for the people who’s familiar with this play, it hurts our eyes to see this kink/lifestyle being written so halfassed and shallow. Because even if the bottom is a masochist, he should have some standards for his kink. However, the dude just loves dick so much that he’s not aware he’s being raped time and time again. And like you said, if the author wanted to write pure smut, she should have. I read of giving us such a half assed plot.

If they wanted to make a plotless smut so bad it was better for them to keep it short like other smuts because characters personalities are way too shallow and how ml technically raped mc was sooo hurtful but everyone moved on like this never happened . I'd be traumatized if i was mc and I'd run away so farr but he seemed weirdly fine with it.
