pretty sure joseph and his dad would've went after the hyunho family regardless. The son as already being bullied and the beating happened because hyunho tried to stab joseph. The dad always planned to "tie up loose ends" with the mother. so kinda but kinda not the mcs fault that they were tied to gangsters
