no adults on school grounds whatsoever, no police in town to arrest the rally of likely adult men coming to beat down on highschoolers, just free roam. 4 of the main characters are canonically like 15 yr old freshman, too.
Thats what really bugging me in a way windbreaker doesnt feel alive do you know what i meant like its good shounen for fights but in matter of world building it doesn't feel alive theres not much family-related relationship too

No kidding, with my my whole enthusiasm towards characters, fighting scenes and written emotions, every chapter the background world, or more like lack of the background world hits me so hard. I could ignore how the "school" is just their base, non existent police (and anyone in particular) but how on earth they found that army of hooligans? What's wrong with Japan population in this manga?
True besides the whole situation seems lack of motive/goals feels like they're fighting for the sake of fighting. The non deliquents relationship we have the most was with kotoha that's all like don't get me wrong its still enjoyable but it feels lack of depth somehow
I cant fathom the idea of them wanting to join furin to "protect" the town its noble yeah but do they studies and think about future job ?
