With you 100%, big bro really should just leave, but it's also very apparent why he hasn't. From what I understand, as much as mc puts up a front, he still wants bonds and connection. His family is a sure fire connection, possibly the only one he recognizes as stable, and therefore he fears losing that. What he has with the ML isn't stable to him because he doesn't recognize that as something he truly wants and intends to cut off at some point. There's a reason why "ur not gonna be useful to the family" is a viable threat.
If i were him, i would pull this pro move called "cutting off my entire family". If youre still being treated like this as an adult, its your fault. Youre an independent bitch, you can provide for yourself already, you can live on your own. Theres no reason for you to endure the whole family bullshit. Family isnt just blood, youll find your own family in the future, eventually.
