Haven't read the novel but judging by this comment I guess MC ended up with tyrant piece of s*it :) probably because he had some sad backstory to justify all the bulls*it he has done so far

Girl who read it said MC got away from ML at one point was living with the MLs brother, who is good guy actually and love MC but not enough to sleep with him, because he knows about the poison. That guy also named him even tho ML had small notebook where he wrote some names he would like to give to MC.
As for the ML he indeed is the biggest piece of shit ever known to humanity, we have the worst possible trope, he fell for MC and MC fell for him because obviously abuse is what makes people love eachother the most. ML knew about the poison and still slept with MC, got poisoned, almost died but MC saved him, because there's a cure for it. It's one of MC's horns. He didn't know if it will work and he could have died from ripping it off from his own head but did it anyway, fed ML so piece of shit ended up being alive and well.
Abuse is viewed through the pink coloured glasses since it turns out tyrant ML loved MC enough to be willing to die from poison just to be able to have him (if you ask me he choosed to sleep with MC despite poison so just his dick can feel good because he's crooked in the head, but anyways Korean authors call that love). Meanwhile the other guy didn't love MC enough because he chooses not to sleep with him and get poisoned to death. From that point of view existence of 2nd ML was unnecessary. He could have been just a very good friend who wants to help and protect MC.
MC and ML reunited, lived I think in MC's old house, ML became all nice in order to redeem himself for ehat he has done so far (aka murders, rapes, abuse, humiliation, freaking genocide etc). They lived happily ever after acknowledging that despite all wrong deeds they can't live without eachother and are learning to accept eachother.
Very beautiful story about mixture of Stockholm and Lima syndrome at the same time. So next time someone rape and beat you, it's because they love you, go with them, very beautiful story indeed.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad I decided to drop this. I sometimes don’t mind enemies to lovers trope but this was just too much enemy for me. He has to be one of the worst semes in a story I’ve ever read. Like no redeeming qualities at all.
Adding that the main character develops memory problems from losing one of his horns. He's haunted by what he believes is his mother's ghost who doesn't approve of his decision so he's constantly feeling guilty and by the end he starts forgetting the nice brother even existed. The book teased that there may be someone else that is interested in the nice brother but even at the end he was still so heart broken. The nice brother was the one to name him but all the way until the end he kept hoping the ML would give him a name as well but it never happens. The ending is just so abrupt with so much unresolved and with the memory problems getting worse and worse I don't consider this a happy ending either
