Kyou, Koi Wo Hajimemasu and some other mangas which I totally forgot the titles of.
I was sooo obsessed with anything that was related to shoujo when I was younger, then I got tired of it because literally every plot was either cliche or the idea was overused.
Then I met BL... lol *smirk smirk* (≧∀≦)
Sameeee those were the shit. (My all time favorite will prolly be shiawase kissa sanchoume) I'll never forget how about 3-4 years ago I was reading kamisama and it had only been updated to chapter 75 or something and I honestly just went crazy mad obsessive looking for any way to buy English translations or like back alley illegal stuff. Never have I needed to continue reading a manga so bad in my life.
Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, I think, before I graduated to shounen and yaoi lol

The most mature and best-plot shoujo. If you haven't read you must, I consider it a must-read. Btw It isn't classic air-heady/fluffy shoujo. There is very good romance though
Omg this is really a classic manga and this was one of the earlier mangas that I've read!(⌒▽⌒) I remember that I found this in our local library and I immediately was totally hooked! Yup, this shoujo manga really is refreshing if you compare to most of the typical shoujo mangas with cliché tropes/fluffy plot/unnecessary drama etc. because I found the plot and characters really realistic. Such an underrated manga!
I was surprised that someone would mention this manga! So what can I say, great pick @ Cgh ;-)
Mine would be Koi dano Ai dano http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/koi_dano_ai_dano/
And all thanks to the female mc! She's a treasure/gem in the pool of shoujo heroines. She's such a refreshing female character, totally untypical for a shoujo female lead. I love her so much!! I'm sure you'll love her too. Furthermore, all the characters in the story are likeable so this is a bonus too! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
But there's a prequel: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/warau_kanoko_sama/ which isn't that much related to the sequel story but I suggest you to read it first for better understanding. :)
I was wondering, which shoujo is the best you have ever read?
