Perhaps it’s due to the difference in level between him and the esper. He can’t do much for his esper unless either side hurt themselves one way or another …
He is still a high ranked guide though, B isn’t low. There is a difference between their levels, but Adam is the only one able to guide him that effectively, since Eve is only willing to kiss and have sex with him. Besides, their relationship surely affects the guiding too. Tbh to me it looks like Adam definitely has some issues with himself, and it distorts his perception of reality.
That’s probable, the very distorted perception of himself and reality is worrying
Why does Adam have such a LOW self esteem? He’s genuinely a good guy, he’s fit and handsome. Espers are artificially created, ofc they’re inhumanly beautiful, but Adam is comparable in terms of appearance. When it comes to personality, he’s one of the best. I don’t understand why he treats himself like that.
