What she fell in love with was his exterior, and how it looked like the 'blue blood' prince she was supposed to be with.
The problem she had with the baby was less his blood and more that he didn't take on daddy's color. That's why she asked herself how many generations would it take to 'clean it'
Personal thought is that the og, or anchant( old old) family had a color like FL and first queen's 'blue blood' is a rival that took over over time.
I find the first queen well and truly bizarre - a women who would allow her husband to sleep with a variety of women for the sake of a 'pure' royal child. Her obsession is strange and her racism is excused with the way she was raised. She married a 'bastard' king and has this weird fascination in diluting the king's 'dirty' blood... I'm assuming that inbreeding and upbringing was what led her to have her strange mental problems and weird jumps, but its shown that she fell in love with the king in her youth and then grew up with him in his country. Idk I just find her character both frustrating and sad - how did the King in look the other way when it came to his Queen's abhorrent racism whilst also trying to befriend and build relationships with the very ppl the Queen insults
