Just because she saved their father's life doesn't mean that he has to date her and if they (bf's family) had actually pushed pushed him into dating her they are then trash. Even after they had broken up, they are still trying to get them back together even when the ex bf doesn't seem to yearn for the fl or had actively chased after her yet to rekindle their burnt out relationship. They need to respect his feelings too and start treating him as an actual human beings with his own desires and wishes rather than a puppet who need to do whatever they ask of him. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE FORCE DOWN THEIR WISHES ON OTHER PEOPLE.
As for the bf, if he didn't like the fl romantically he should have still tried to hold his ground even when his parents and sister were trying to push him into a romantic relationship with a girl he didn't like.
