You know his taking those flowers back to Japan with him lol XD
Yeah, but Kei is still letting another man lean on his shoulder. I'll be happier when he learns to make them back off like Jin does. At least this time Kei's face looks unhappy with the intrusion.
I feel you though. Kei used to be one of my faves. I guess I still haven't quite gotten over the fact that only Shingo apologized last time when Kei should not have let Angelo act like that. I wanted to see Kei react like Jin did (or at least acknowledge that he should have done so). But I don't really doubt Kei so much as I think he handled it the wrong way and then let Shingo take all the blame. If love means never having to say you are sorry, Shingo should have to be sorry either. :P
But Kei does look cute with the plushie. I'll forgive him because he's hot.
Does Angelo has any shame or self respect at all? He knows that Kei and Shingo are together. To me it's more like Kei doesn't even bother to stop him because he knows it doesn't even work.
It's kinda ironic. While Angelo accuses his "lover" cheating, he shamelessly flirts with anything that moves. :v
I don't think even a story of his own would make me like him. When I saw his lover first thing that I tought was "how could you love someone like him?"(● ̄(エ) ̄●)
Guys, you're being heartless ;)
Poor Angelo, is more than a victim, he's pathetic: I can't hold a grudge against him any longer. He's way too pitiful.
Not to talk about a man that abruptly spreads out a church's door to rescue him! "Danny"?!? I mean, really, let's stop talking about them. I DON'T want to read about Angelo ever again, even though I'm 101% sure we will, if there will be a sequel.
Anoni, I remembered your position about Kei, and I respect it. I can understand where you come from, but the problem is just another one, for me. I don't think Keiichi left Angelo do anything, he just stoically endured his vulgar pressure, but he was entirely detached from what was happening. Not for one second he betrayed Shingo, quite the opposite, from my point of view, he needed Shingo more than ever, because all of his strength was drained going through his time with Angelo. But he was unable to express himself, as he always is. Ei and Jin are not comparable with Shingo and Keiichi, they are so much more sophisticated. In my eyes, Ei is the ideal man in this entire saga, as well as Keiichi is not. His main characteristic is a deeply rooted desire of being loved. Keiichi fails in being perfect because he's not. Nor is Shingo. They complete each other, and they will need a long, long time to grow up together. On the other hand, Ei and Jin are mature and their love is, from any point of views, much more adult. But it didn't come for free. I think Shingo should learn how to underline when his lover treats him as he did here (this unforgettable horrible scene…) :

In my opinion, they still have a long road above them. This form of disrespect for the other one's feelings is the most serious, to me. It is where even the rest comes from. But, apparently, they are both too scared inside to jump directly to a place where they will act as mature people. Even though they hurt each other, they instinctively always knew they were cut from the same frame… let's call it their animal instinct. And now they are trying to change for each other's sake. This is more romantic than being perfect. Shingo and keiichi are imperfect.
What I really love about Sakyo Aya is that she's not afraid of portraying disfunctional characters, without the necessity of turning them into entirely twisted ones. That's much more banal than drafting the complicated sides of human psyche.
Kei and Shingo are much more real than the astonishing Ei. But, from the comments I read during these past months, neither Ei is enough for the readers. They want him to apologize for holding a guy he wasn't even really interested in during his youth, when he was able to stand by his beloved's side when he married someone else. I think this is extremely interesting.
In the end, Ei always does the right thing: neither of them have to apologize. Their past is what happened to them. What really counts is what people are able to do of what happened to them, not the happening itself… (yes, this line is not mine).
Damn, I love her. I need more of all of them, Angelo excluded. That's why I know I'll get more Angelo.
you my friend have my respect i agree with each and every word that you have said we Angelo is non existent to me so i don't care about him much but kei and shingo and ei and jin i love them my fav are kei and shingo well they mess sometimes but their relationship is something i really love its like they fit together in perfectly imperfect way .
That's why I like Shingo&Kei more, they're not perfect. Ei and Jin knew each other for how many years? Almost for all of their life, unlike Kei and Shingo who are dating for what 2 years? So it's natural for them to be more compatible with years of experience and understanding which Kei and Shingo doesn't have. Also Jin and Kei were raised separately, imo Jin had a very strict upbringing unlike Kei so, it's normal for them to be different.
Imo it's unfair to compare them together because of that, of course knowing someone for 20 something years is not equal to 2.
Please, don't misunderstand me, I wasn't comparing them in order to diminish Kei/Shingo. It's true what you say - time shouldn't be underestimated as a crucial factor, but it works in both senses, and what Ei endured to me is much more spectacular than all Kei/Shingo's tragedies, that end in a few weeks because their urge to screw is larger than reason.
Ei proved a deep devotion that I think exists in real life, but it's pretty rare to see. I'm not saying it is better than Kei and Shingo's love for each other, it's just more mature.
I still feel like nothing has been really told us about Keiichi. I want to know more about his upbringing, but I think that won't happen. There is where the deep difference lies. I want to know more about their parents. We have been informed they are still alive, so where the hell are they?…
Their family must be a complete mess, that's why Kei didn't want Shingo to become his own…. because he associated the word "family" with something sad where he was not allowed to express his feelings. I know Keiichi is rude sometimes, but I think he's learning the meaning of the word "family" from Shingo. Shingo believed he was nothing more than an abandoned child - someone who had been discarded, someone undesirable, but for Keiichi he is the only desirable creature in the world. Never forget that, for him, he was willing to cut all ties with his original family.
Now, this is not an healthy relationship, but sure it's touching.
At the end of this story, even Jin learnt something from Shingo. Jin is such a classy man, but somehow, Shingo has more dignity than anyone else, here. I said it before, Shingo is the only "real man" in this saga! …and that's why, if needed, he would kill to defend Jin and Ei, if necessary. How I would love to see Shingo reacting impulsively to defend them, and Keiichi being forced to realize that everything he has, he owns it to Shingo (...but I think he actually did it yet)
I love how you explain everything. I still love Shingo too. I also think Jin has been well developed. But for me, nothing will ever justify Kei "stoically" enduring what he should not allow in the first place. It's just so disrespectful to Shingo. There is no good reason why Kei should not tell Angelo to keep his hands to himself, or at least twitch away and turn his head so Angelo can't take liberties. I agree that Kei loves and needs Shingo--I just don't think he necessarily respects Shingo enough since the last story line. Kei is still hot though.
...my goal in life is learning a better english, so I will be able to express myself with one/third of the words I use now. Like you do :) I'm always admired by the why you write and the things you write, too. You should know by now that I do not make compliments, I only say what's on my mind. Damn, maybe you're the only person I've been nice in here. Is not that I want to be rude… I can accept any idea… when it is supported by a decent stream of logic.
Ok, Sakyo Aya, give us a more respectful Keiichi, I would love him too, and you're entitled to show him completely naked while you're at it. Thanks (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Let's talk about the fact that Kei cannot stand to be away from Shingo for a couple of days without ending in public with a plush toys on his lap… (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ what for an idiot he looks like, I just love him

…we must remeber this before we doubt him again, as it will surely happen if there will ever be a sequel, that is exactly what I want from my favorite mangaka Sakyo Aya. I hope she's not tired of them because I feel like I'll never be, I just adore this story and her drawings.
To Pink Cherry Blossoms Scans, a big THANK YOU as aways for translating my favorite artist (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
