Umm... It's not exactly accurate to the surviving written mythology we have, but have you not seen or heard of Avengers movies or something???
Please tell me you were joking.
You have legit caused me to question my entire existence because somehow someone on a manga reading website has made me feel twelve levels more nerdy than I thought I was before.
I thought everyone at least knew that Odin is the head god of the pantheon for Norse mythology because the movies were so popular, but you are really making me question my perception of reality here.
If it's not normal to know that much basic information about Norse mythology or to have watched all the Marvel superhero movies, then now I question what that makes me when I already know way more than that and have watched most of those movies. (⊙…⊙ )
Yeah that's fair, I know what I know because I read a lot of novels in middle school. Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase book series... I also know a several myths from Japanese, Chinese, and Nigerian mythology. I just like mythology in general so I seek it out even now, but I get that most people don't. I just didn't understand how little most people know if they haven't read those books lol.
I was just so shocked at calling Odin a king instead of a god. But if you know Greek mythology, Odin has essentially the same position as Zeus without constantly cheating on his wife. Also I wasn't trying to judge you for not seeing marvel movies, I've just never met anyone who hadn't seen any of those movies lol. Birds of a feather and all that probably contributed to that though.
Btw, if you want a manwha that has Norse mythology in it, check out i obtained a mythic item. It's in the same genre as tomb raider king, but I recall it being more dramatic and the protagonist struggles a lot more than the one in tomb raider king.
Not Odin being like here have a child
