I agree I never understood why people were mad at Taegu because he is only trying to do what was best for his lover.

I’m actually really proud of Taeju. I can’t say I’m happy for the pain he’s going through, but this is the exact character development I was hoping for (that you basically never see) - not only being willing to let their object of affection go, but feeling the need to due to the severity of the harm he inflicted. The explanation that he believes that Euihyun is only feeling love due to omega pregnancy pheromones isn’t unreasonable. It doesn’t feel forced or added for the sake of conflict.
I just really continue to be impressed by this story. I just haven’t seen these sort of matters tackled so well by any author. When this story started I assumed it would be another guilty pleasure at best, but it has surpassed my expectations in every way.
