Reread this and it really upsets me to see how the fight between the two siblings was resolved. The sister feels shallow and tactless to contact her brother only to speak about her wedding, and she wasn't either written as a spiteful character like Kippei who is presented as bitter and set in hatred in the beginning. In the end Kippei apologizing comes off dirty and Yurina -who could've been a major character to show the flaws of these two and how she evolved out of it- and her sub end up being annoying and kind of feel evil / a form of peer pressure that sets a harder way to redeem this sysem. (By that I mean that the bias Kippei has is proven wrong, but his fear of the system feels justified as he is apologizing while Yurina, who attacked him, does not and is protected because she is a dom and did this for her sub, etc.)
I repeated myself a lot but I hope I made my point clear enough lmao
Omg also a rr and I was just going to comment the same thing I wished she apologized because she was a great Part to his trauma ,not only did hate his secondary gender buts she made him fear Dom gaze. It just felt like they by past everything he went through

Exactly ! Setting trauma up and not offering a satisfying conclusion to such an important narrative really ends up giving a lukewarm taste after reading
