My brother in Christ open relationship exist. It may not be common but it does exist.
i'm not sure if the author was trying to portray an asexual non-monogamous relationship but it's not uncommon for asexual people (or people who are uncomfortable with sex in general) to open the relationship so their partner can meet their sexual needs without pressuring the ace person to change. i'm aroace and v involved in the asexual community which is why i know this. it would definitely be a problem if the lover wasn't okay with it, but the lover never really did anything to show he's uncomfortable with it?
Yeah I thinking this too bc I am also ace, but I am more concerned for the mc bc he out right stated his discomfort with this relationship. I also just don't like the ideas of open relationships, I just feel like eventually the sexual relationship will develop romantic interest and someone is bound to get hurt
oh i get what you mean ya if the mc isn’t comfortable with it then it isn’t okay i caught up to the latest chapter & they never hooked up again after the 1st time n took the focus off of that specific ml so it should be safe to read if you do end up continuing

I get the MC tho. Their open relationship is their issue. The fact that the guy didn't tell him about it was red flag enough. For me anyway. It would have been nice to know that it was an open relationship. Yeah MC isn't looking for a relationship but being ambushed by that reality in that way is just not ok. He's a potential third wheel and possible drama. Not worth it even if they say they don't mind.
