For real i mean people can be mad for the ending yeah but call it shit is kinda... Surely since the first chapter the vibe dont give any cutesy or healthy one so you read for what you sign up for ! Besides someone like Lily i dont think the ending for her to end up with Anna would be good either she cant stand her ground weak willed and weak minded , the ending of her running back to duchess is very realistic atleast to me since shes the victim of manipulation of predator like rose
I actually don't feel this like a bad ending cause even though Anna is very hurt, she is not standing still in that mansion waiting for Lily to find out Rose is not that one she loves, for me that's a perfect ending, maybe is sad for Lily but I'm looking for a better ending for Anna so I got what I wanted.

so we cant have psychological/tragic endings anymore....bc of woke...i just think unhappy endings arent automatically bad ones. a lot of good stories are sad or tragic. happy endings all the time isnt realistic either. idk ,i just couldn't imagine being close minded like that. but to each their own
