BTW if you just come here for the sɛx, then you'll be disappointed LOL. Not everything has to be rushed into that direction (￣∇￣") . And since it's taboo in that world, they could have been sentenced to death too. So they have no choice to investigate further.
The mother might be stupid, but that's how she was taught to be due to her parents. At least she gave the FL a chance to go out there and show her the truth about the featheries. So it's up to the lead characters to be the one to change that world (and to show what they're missing in life LOL)
