Honestly, the manhwa makes it a thousand times cringier than the novel plus the novel has a lot more details and the events aren't as abrupt so there is buffer time

I have to admit that chapter 26 and 27 is indeed cringe I'm afraid. It was good until there but the sped up trope after trope... Hopefully no more after this (￣∇￣")
