I think I watched like the first 4-6 episodes but then just stopped. I got so many spoilers from TikTok and saw how many people died and decided it wasn’t worth it. Tbh, it’s a good show, but with how badly gege fucked it up because he hates all his characters and his entire fandom, it’s overrated. If gege wasn’t the author and someone who knew what they where doing wrote jjk, it would’ve been a lot better.
Honestly I personally don't think it's overrated I still think it's a pretty solid Manga like in terms of world building it's a chef kiss but after the second ark of the story Gege lost the plot honestly it feels like they want to end it but they are not sure how to handle the characters and they are just killing them off cause they don't know how to write them in line with the story anymore. Good on you for stopping tho you save yourself a world of heartache
I feel like I've been scammed, I used to only read happy and fuffly romance because I enjoy not being sad. I started JJK because I wanted to read a shonen for a change I thought it would be a silly little story about teenagers fighting monsters but I'm literally scared emotionally like hidden inventory changed my brain chemistry.
Gege you son of bitch I never even usually care about the mangaka behind what I'm reading but Gege has such genuine hate for his own characters I can't ignore them lmao. Like every time there's an update I'm like who's it gonna be this time. Like I wanna to drop it so bad but I'm so hooked now I can't
