It is a theory but Yuji has been unsconsciously using his technique and domain expansion since the beggining, giving People a glimpse of something deep in them. Like with Todo, Mahito, Choso, Sukuna and now Fushigoro. Like Todo saw themselves as the greatest friend, Mahito saw himself as a bunny being hunted by a Wolf, Choso as his brother in the dinner table, and now Sukuna and Fushigoro.
The theory is that as he is a vessel and a "created" soul (to put it in some way) his soul is at another frequency than others and he can use it to connect with them. Like an empath.
Can you elaborate more on the frequency thing please? That was also mentioned in another novel I read and I think it's related
Like think about radio waves. Yuji soul is a mix of many of them as he was "created" but it was only during his unleashing and being a vessel that these started to channel. So now we have radio waves, a frequency but someone who is connecting to random outposts. So he went from everywhere to Be a Bluetooth signal Connecticut to any port open, i.e., People whose souls have wavered or are in distress.
