Mc is a mess but it’s understandable. He’s in both physical and mental pain. How many times has he woken up in the hospital? He had suicidal thoughts. And he quite literally has a time limit until he turns into a vegetable (such a cruel fate). I don’t blame him for being all over the place trying to survive.

And that lame ass “you looked lonely” excuse be so serious! I’d be annoyed and frustrated. Like first you do this creepy serial killer type shit.
