I will forever hate how this fandom subscribed to the red/green flag nonsense and by default created their own narrative instead of paying attention to the story that was actually being told. The moment y'all decided that Cain was a green flag and Yahwi was a red flag by default you took nuance out their character arcs. The cognitive dissonance in y'all couldn't allow to even recognise the intention of characters without bias. You already had preconceived notions about the characters actions without even bothering to ponder about what the intention of their actions were. A great example of this is Yahwi redemption arc often being reduced to him manipulating Jooin with his trauma and Cain using Jooins name to treat his family like shit is glorified and seen as a romantic gesture that was required for the progression of his relationship with Jooin.

Let's look at the intentions shall we? Yahwi wanted to offer Jooin clarity. He knew the trauma of his formative years was a hinderance to the advancement of his relationship with Jooin. He realised that even if he didn't want to he had to tell his most important person this truth about himself. Granted it may not have done anything but the need to open up and give Jooin a glimpse into his thought process was required for them to grow closer. This is something that is very welcomed by Jooin and gives him an opportunity to not just see Yahwis actions through blurred lens. His intention was never to manipulate Jooin he just wanted to tell his truth. If he weren't assigned red flag his actions would have not been perceived as manipulative.

Cain on the other hand once again does things on his own without making Jooin aware of anything. He goes back home and blames his family for his unhappiness and basically why Jooin doesn't love him. He disrespects his own family and cuts them off for Jooin and just expected Jooin to be happy with that. People will fault Ryan for telling Jooin but Jooin needed to know his name was being used for someone to be a dummy. Imagine the shitty image Cain had painted of Jooin to his family with his actions? They probably hated him when he did nothing. All this was seen as a grand gesture of love when it actually made Jooin feel like shit. He never asked for any of that. This to me was really a major turning point for cainjoo cz all his actions now were under a microscope to Jooin. The problem with Cain in this incident and others is that he cares for Jooin in a way that is only convenient for him and not caring for Jooin the way Jooin wanted to be cared about. He does all these things and even when Jooin expresses his dismay he ignores him. Cain exhibits selfishness and at times no care about the emotional and mental repurcssions of his actions on Jooin. Somehow his actions are seen as romantic when they're just problematic.
