Wait… what?

So, his Highness can’t kill Megi, because theyre immortal so he erased his memories instead (which btw makes me question if maybe something like that happened before as well)
But
Didn’t Sugi’s husband die?
Can’t they just, put him in a max security cage exposed to the sky and leave him there till the sun comes up??
I don’t get the logic here, someone please explain DX

Also also, why did the narrative change from “En’s so interesting cause hes A new vamp with untainted blood” to, “En’s so intresting cause he was turned by Megi”?
Like, first of all, everyone at the party said it was the former, and if everyone had actually thought the latter, shouldn’t that have induced a panic since they (apparently) all knew he was supposed to be institutionalised??
Where’s the sense?
This is like a disney twist villain, the plot twist feels so forced , unnecessary and nonsensical :(

I think maybe it's because megi was turned by utsugi (who seems to be the original "vampire") and maybe his powers are stronger than the rest so he can't really die?
Can't really know for sure until the author confirms (• ▽ •;)

i also think that is the very reason why megi couldn't be destroyed. also in my opinion i don't think the people immediately knew that en had megi's blood, i think they felt like he blood was delectable or something to point of frenzy but not necessarily because they recognised the creator. i don't know if what i said makes any sense but yeah they probably thought oh a very yummy newborn

Very yummy newborn sounds so wrong but in this context it might be true

Yeah but the TL said they recognised Megi’s blood in En in the latest chapter?
Maybe a small error, idk. It just confused me so much

en said ',part of the reason why i was such a big deal was because of megis blood', so i'm interpreting it as if they didn't necessarily know it was megi who turned him, i think it kinda amplified the allure of his blood.
