The smell definitely made him more horny and possessive (he acted that way before when they first had sex), but seeing as white tentacles are coming from the mc, I think whatever was implanted in his is changing him in general. He was also unfortunately experimented on as a child too so.
The way he immediately just started biting one of the white tentacles, like dude try to freak out even a little.
