Kinda true. But only because he happened to see him in the street and thus knew he was lying. He had no reason to think he'd be caught and it was a really harmless lie.
It's easy to blame him though since he lied first. And so badly, too. He claimed he was home, so he should've noticed that he'd been caught when he actually came home and then just come clean then and there
This is all Suha's fault. I hate people that lie for no reason...
