it frl ruins the immersion the artist could've done vintage looking machines instead of modern looking to make it look less out of place
I dunno man if it was me I'll also just design it in a modern way and give it to the magic association out of place be damned
But when you think about it if the machines are so advance because of magic why aren’t the houses too? People’s customs? And their clothes? And I might not mean in what we think today type of advancement but I feel like there should at least be something different from their time compared to ours other then small coffee machines. Plus people in her village are commoners, peasants and you don’t really see them with that stuff, right? And yeah I’m over analyzing a lil WEBTOON but the main premise of this is coffee and magic and yes also romance but mostly coffee, so I felt like they should’ve incorporated more of that magical feel for their time period itself of just a modern coffee maker, they could’ve done something so creative or at least something somewhat modern but sticking to that time period at least..
you know how sometimes the market started copying each other until one person change up the game, that's how it is, but since the idea came from a modern person, perhaps the design too, that's probably gonna be the extent of it, whatever MC instructed and came up with, that's what the contracted worker is gonna do
though of course I'll totally agree with you if this idea did not come from a non-modern person, like she live in this world since the beginning
