true but his likeablility score was high enough to where i feel like he does care for penelope as you can tell from his inner thought that he cant act out on due to yvonnes brainwashing (hes still ass tho)
Meh he's always been an asshole, he wouldn't THIS unfazed obvi but even back when Pen broke down 'cause Eclise betrayed her, he's reaction was "you're humiliating the Eckhart name bla bla bla" so this brainwashing is just making him act as an extreme version of himself. Even Eclise was like such, the brainwashing made him carry out his betrayal but his obsession and selfish desire to compromise her future was already showcased before Yvonne's return
i def see where your coming from, yvonnes manipulation making the characters a more extreme version of themselves makes a lot of sense
Yep I just reread while waiting for this chapter and you definitely see the plot points build up over time. I'm curious to see old plotline be brought back now that the hard mode is over
Can he get any worse. Like Penelope got poisoned and he's over here asking if Yvonne is okay. Like I know she ur real sister but you've known Penelope much longer than you've known her m'kay. It wasn't enough to ruin her big day you also had to just not care when she got poisoned like what, WHAT!!? And the fact that everybody sees how much he favors Yvonne is crazy. Like you supposed to be the Dukes heir, but he can't leave the investigation up to you cuz he know it's gonna be rigged in Yvonnes favor with you. I will never not dislike him my hatred runs deep with him y'all.
