You have to take into account that the story takes place in Korea, in Korea rape is only a crime if it involves a male and a female reproductive organ, there they do not consider this situation as rape.

Okay let's say they would do absolutely nothing about the constant SA no matter how terrific it is. But there are other serious crimes there. Physical assault, violence, abuse, confinement against his will, blackmailing??? A restraining order would be released at least. And I'm not familiar with s korean law but in most countries these gang rapists would be behind bars that's why I said the police needs to be involved...

"Does he have prove of any of that happening" is the first thing the police will ask. Plus the perpetrators are wealthy people's kids. The most the victim will get out of it is a settlement fees at best. At worst he'll just be called a liar and be called disgusting for ruining the city's reputation.

A case like this one happened in Korea. 4cases actually (I think the author took inspiration from those cases)

For one, the victim ended up killing herself 10 years layer. After finding out the perpetrators are living their best lives and have forgotten what they did to her

The second one the victim was killed by the pepetrators ( happened in 2015). She got a restraining order but they kidnapped her and finished her off so she doesn't continue her confession (cause what they did was inhumane)

And the other one was the ' SK Miriang case' of a girl who was SA-ed by 12 boys in highschool (all of them super wealthy)

The 4th one was a boy. He was raped with objects and later killed by his "friends" who found out he was Gay. It started as light teasing till it turned into a full murder case. They case was later dropped because of lack of evidence.(bullshit the perpetrators were wealthy people's kids. They paid off the judge)

In all these cases the perpetrators lived their best lives afterwords!! (Lawyers, doctors, real-estate agents etc). No remorse whatsoever. They even have kids of their own.


Korea is a safe heaven for bastards like this!! They believe in rehabilitation that is why they never share perpetrators names only victims. It's the dark side of Korea.

Thank you for taking the time to inform me about it. I am terrified reading about each one of these cases. The fact the aggressors are all "respectable" members of society after all the abuse they inflicted makes me angry to no measure. I can't believe no justice was made for the poor victims... All I found out after this webtoon is that SK has some serious issues with their laws and corruption in the judiciary system. It's almost unbelievable a civilised country could let criminals unpunished just like that because of their families, connections and money. I'm utterly disgusted.
