i think that if this was longer and had a more thought out story board it would be better. the flashbacks are important to the story but go on for too long, compared to the actual present timeline. if the story was longer and we got more invested in their present selves im sure the flashbacks wouldve been more appreciated.
also i don't like that we glazed over the fact the ml was s/a by his mother and never got therapy??? it was treated far too lightly. both mcs got s/a and neither of those traumas are addressed in a healthy way, they just like "thats the past " and act like its nothing.
also sorry but the inital art style was so pretty, i dont think the "improved" art style is better, it's just different.
