No no he is litteraly worth every hate. MAYBE A SPOILER but It was said by someone that Derrick had litteraly romantic feelings for penelople and acted all bitchy for that reason ( idk exactly why) and that's why he ruined penelopes life cuz he had feelings. He deserves all the hate
