I think He could also be under charm. Since that dude is an old ass bitch he’s got some top notch mind control right so the charm could be extremely subtle and natural but, to always listen to his master. That’s y I think he let him live.
But you shouldn't be able to charm people to open the window cause then what even is the point of the needing to be invited in thing it's all useless if you can just make them open it. Also the way Meg said it didn't sound like En was charmed just that he just keeps doing it. "Silly boy you invited me in again" doesn't sound like he was charmed just that he's being stupid.
Yea I totally see that. I was thinking he had some sort of charm from when he was turned something sneaky so he had a loophole to get where he wants. But most likely just plain manipulation.

You said that you can base your assumptions on the context, then you would’ve known that en is obviously charmed. iichi was shown in the past with blood on his hand bc of this megi guy and traumatized to the point of not opening up until meeting en. You think he seems like the type to let anyone treat him like that or act like that? Implying megi has control over the vampires he turned. You can also see en is dazed in the last few slides.
