    my mom once mixed in pig's blood into soup b/c some people think it's good flavoring. I refused to eat it.

    It's pretty common in Asian cuisine. I remember eating chicken blood in a soup back when I was a kid... wasn't bad.

    Well if you eat meat then you're technically eating animal blood. Isn't meat and blood the same? If not, you're still eating a living thing. So it's not that weird.

    Ah well, I just wanted to point out that people can eat blood and still be humans (and not vampires)
