If I remember correctly Enrique's nanny finds out he goes to the library to meet Deborah every week and doesn't like that he is getting tutoring sessions with Deborah. On his way to one of her tutoring sessions the nanny stops him and starts telling him messed up things and also telling him he's the reason for his mom's death so Deborah doesn't teally like him or cate for him and in order for the Duke not to hate him he need to study hard. Deborah already suspicion of the nanny because of Enrique's behavior goes to get him for their leasson and hears the nanny's emotional abuse and gaslight. Deborah even starts pulling the nanny's hair if I remember. She then threatens the nanny and all of the servants who serve Enrique then taking him with her. They then start having fun and bonding by playing board game. Deborah even reads him a book their Mom liked. So yeah their relationship just improves from their and Enrique acts like a kid when around her and they have a lot of cute moments My favorite is when they say they will live together forever
