yup .. went through some stuff on novelupdates forum thingi and yeah. poor communication in the first life is basically it. so yeah-- ml didn't cheat and he went to adeline to get a ring made for fl because adeline is a jeweller (or wanted to be one or smth) and adeline already has someone she likes (not the ml)

so according to the spoilers in the first timeline ml was always standing beside her and supporting her but she kinda doubted him + when the rumours ab him and adeline were going around she thought they were true but infact wasnt,, adeline was making a ring for fl that ml asked her to make and while talking ab all that fl and her had this misunderstanding (basically they were talking ab it but both their meanings were different) + adeline also described the person she liked (a knight) and the discription sounded similar to ml so fl misunderstood that,,, but they clear it up later. people on novelupdates also posted a longer discription of each chapter of the novel but i just skimmed through it so can't recall it sorry ☹ you can search for the title + spoilers the first option would be the novelupdates forum thingi u can read through that for more spoilers :DD
