Zain said “black queens forever snowbunnies never” and also there’s a reason why yall want rahil and zain to be a switch couple or for rahil to be the top #colorism cuz some of yall genuinely see black people ESPECIALLY dark skinned black people as too aggressive and masculine to be in a submissive position or to even be taken care of by their partner and yes i said black cuz it’s obvious rahil is black all of yalls “preference” is just colorism and anti blackness cuz let’s be honest yall lying and saying there aren’t a lot of switch couples when in reality there are. in reality there aren’t a lot of bls/gls with black and brown characters regardless of their sexual position.

FREEENNN when I tell you I was surprised seeing a community that is MAJORLY against switches talking about how they want a switch couple and it’s always under bls/yaoi with black and brown characters in a submissive position I said “hmmmm something is happening here”

Exactlyyy, and I think most of the commenters complaining are either not blac/white (no shade), or dealing with their own internalized biases against black people/poc. When a black character becomes a bottom, it challenges traditional power dynamics and assumptions about race and masculinity that some readers have internalized. The comments are so defensive here but look at any other comment section with a racially ambigous masculine bottom and you don't see any of this "switch couples are so rare" rhetoric. Lets be honest majority of bl/yaoi characters are very racially ambigous despite being east asian, majority of media they consume automatically includes and centers white ppl, and on a yaoi site where majority here are girls idealizing themselves into the uke role, they automatically can't when faced with a black bottom because its not relatable to them bcs of their own stereotypes towards black ppl, (ive seen this with south asians too commonly being depicted and barbaric and manly).
