Gonna be honest everyone in this story is a bit dull/so trusting it’s stupid. How did the empress literally not question Kais at all about the alter? Like in what world does it make sense for a demonic alter to be in the basement of his palace and he has nothing to do with it. And then the obvious signs that something is wrong when Ria refuses to go with him and yet she still wants to give him the benefit of the doubt and act like nothing happened. It’s just plain stupid. And Lisha she’s spent her whole life around people who she couldn’t trust I feel if anything she should be more distrustful than anyone else in the story. She’s already had an assassination attempt yet she’s not on high alert and goes along with everything people say even if they are straight up strangers like Nathan. Or even some random ass women who ran in pretending to be her mom with no proof whatsoever like use your brain a second YOU ARE A PRINCESS so what if she has a mark on her head it’s not like Lisha even knows her mom’s hair color. It’s all just so stupid.
