Man even if you look at this chapter in a non-novel way, it doesn’t make any damn sense, why would sixx hesitate? He literally just killed those dudes in the restaurant like two chapters ago, he should’ve done it asap, and you can’t say shit abt him being in wolf form bc that man is FULLY conscious in that form and where tf did Malone come from I mean you could say it was bc there was a kid in his lap but it just frustrates me

At the restaurant the person he loved was about to die so it makes sense he had that type of reaction/over-reaction. Here we discover in the chapter that he is not that cold blooded killer capable of killing a father who's holding his own kid (?) on the porch. In the previous chapter Six was asked if he could kill for Marlon, and he answered "yes". Turns out he cannot, he only can for Marlon's sake not just for Mafia wars. The finale with the cliché appearance right before he committed a true assassination to retaliate moved the significance of those words a step forward, we know more about the protagonists and how they are evolving in the plot.

Eh fair enough, idk it just didn’t go through to me but rereading it I can see it kinda. It’s mostly my novel bias clouding my judgement but I’m trying my best to see the manhwa independently it’s probably how rushed everything feels that I didn’t get any sort of build up that would make me feel six’s real conflict to the fullest extent it could’ve been, still I just think they should’ve kept more of sixx’s internal struggle with trying not killing those dudes in the restaurant. The restaurant scene was more sneaky and less ambushy in the novel and shows more of his struggle with killing. Made this scene feel more cumulative as a true decision of whether or not he’ll do *anything* for malone. Like I think six doesn’t kill, like, at ALL in the novel but don’t quote me on that.

That's the problem I think! Quite a bit of what is explained we must get through the images of the scene and the few dialogues but regardless of the illustrator's skills, part of the message is lost. On the contrary that's a plus for the novel, most people would want to know more about the story so they're likely to pick up the novel as well to understand better what's going on and some eventual differences. I am one of those.
