Yeah I understand your opinion.
Social rankings and cultures (*old ways) are still so hard to fix and erase. I live and experience things that are heavily influenced of long social culture. Historically it was really normal to wed at a young age and convenient marriages. So it feels okay or normal when it really isn't.
My family and ancestors still believe I should wed with the same ethnicity. Marry at once with my live in partner. They are still pestering me till this day about marriage or at least get wedding papers. So I kind of understand how bianca and eve's father acted that way, and how bianca forgave his dad easily. It's a culture biancas parents and mine have raised and ingrained into. But that doesn't excuse it's wrong. I just do understand. More grave situations are still experienced by other people right now worldwide. Kidnapped brides, child brides, battered wives and some situations where the victims families are aware yet still letting things go on.
I'm kind of glad actually on how the characters in this manhwa are more expressive on their feelings and how they stand up for themselves. I do hope I too can do the same and other victims out there to free themselves of so called social norms and long standing culture.
