As beautiful of a story it was, i have a feeling that the author still has so many ideas for this story but for some reason she had to limit the chapters. Cat warned about a man with a tattoo on his back that's been haunting dojin's dreams... and it was just.. that. Like what was even the point of that panel that shows his tattoo? Lol I just thought there's going to be more of the black tortoise and his new emperor's antagonism. I love BWAT's works but i'd say this is their most rushed one yet. I'm still so sad about rabbit tho :(

The man with the back tattoo is the new emperor of black tortoise’s country though? The whole point of that country being antagonistic was because of that. True, I think he should’ve gotten more screen time but I was never confused on what was happening and why.

Yeah, I know his role and i wasn't really confused about that. I wasn't confused about the character himself, but more about that specific panel that shows his tattoo. The author emphasized the panel as if it's going to make another appearance that will stir up the story. But it didn't turn out to be anything special lol that's why i was thinking that Perhaps they had more ideas abt the story but they had to cut it short

And yeah it's exactly as u said. He was the villain and made him look all intimidating and shit but he didn't get much screen time in the end. Aside from the dreams, he was just... there

Oh okay gotcha. I also thought the reveal of him was gonna have something more to do with the tattoo because it seemed significant. All I can think of is that Dojin has a back tattoo of a snake and I remember the scene were Yellow Dragon noticed it and asked him about it, to which he responded with saying how it was something he and an old friend got together but he didn’t like thinking about it. And when they revealed the guy with the eagle tattoo on his back I though there was a connection, like ”oh, this is probably the guy he got the tattoo with” but then that was never really explored. So yeah, I agree with you that I see the author probably had way more ideas than they fully showed in the actual manhwa. I honestly think it could have been longer with more chapter or at least a side story? But maybe that’s just because I want more since the stuff I read was so good.

I think there was more story behind it but the author had to prioritize. Too many lose ends, like what happened with tortoise and his new emperor which was the bad guy. I had the impression that the same bad guy is the one that killed cat. So many things that could have developed but at the end didn’t.
Also the eagle tatto (hunter) is the counterpart of the tatto Dojin has (a serpent, usually prey of eagles or hunting birds) so I imagine that guy convinced Dijon to get that tatto as in making him his prey. But I never got to see any of that, lol.
It was a good story but undeveloped. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
