Kang said some straight bs to his own boyfriend needing more experience dating other people blah blah blah and basically said he didn’t think the relationship would last because of age gap and experience something he should have mentioned a long time ago if that was his thought process. The whole point of someone younger being introduced is for kang to learn his lesson and for Yiyoung to experience being chased by someone closer to his age it can be a testing time in age gap relationships because these types of insecurities do pop up and need to be addressed. This is a 3rd wheel that I don’t mind because it makes perfect sense for the dynamics in the plot rather than a pointless love rival.

He’s not even a love rival, Yi has no interest, not the slightest…too busy simping over Kang.

What you said is right. And clearly Kang has insecurities, he definitely regret saying what he said. He thinks he’s too old for Yi and that he will date more people than him, and when he said that to Yi, Yi felt as if he was thinking they’d be short term relationship which hurt him.

Doyeon just adds jealousy fuel, but nothing much. He isn’t completely useless but he’s useful in I guess making Kang realize, but man is he fucking annoying! Read raws.

for reals though, the author thought the plot damn very well for a sequel. It does makes sense for hadochil to be the challenge in their relationship (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
