Same af. Love me some omegaverse (despite all the hate for it) but I don't really get the appeal of mpreg. I guess because to me one of the joys of yaoi is knowing that men can fuck how ever much they want w/o the fear of pregnancy. So I'm usually down with omegaverse until the omega actually gets pregnant. Idk it just sort of defeats the purpose of yaoi (for me ofc). I literally love everything about omegaverse except the mpreg
I totally agree with you on that. I love me some alpha-omega love but if the baby-making part isn't a mutual decision by two consenting adults not plagued by their biological imperatives, then forget it. I'd rather just have all the sex they get. But if they both want it coz they're committed and sane enough to want one, I'll even volunteer to pull their babies out free of charge ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I may be a bit biased here primarily because I really dislike children. I just hate when the Alphas only see Omegas as a producer of offspring, even if they still like/love the omega. I also dislike when the omega pretty much sees themselves in the same way. Like I've read some where the omega thinks if they have the baby their Alpha will love them more or like a baby is a trophy of their love. It seems super stereotypical that since the omega is capable of having a baby that it's essential for them to have one in order for something to be valid.
Anyone else a fan of Omegaverse but not a fan of mpreg? Like idk I hate the idea of the fact that even though in the omegaverse the omega can have a baby, it doesn't mean that they should even want one. I'm a female capable of being pregnant and i guess ovulation is kind of like "heat", that doesn't mean that during that time I want a baby. So I read this omegaverse mangas where the Aplha is just like "get pregnant" and it's like bitch maybe the omega doesn't want a kid ever, he's just capable of having one. Having a kid does not equate to love or commitment, it's literally optional. Idk, the idea just irks me. Not the actual mpreg but literally when the mangaka makes the uke a baby craving lunatic.
