Mind boggling how, in some return stories where they come back a few years before their death and MC still ends up with the person who killed them (I'm totally calling you out Doctor Elise). Where is the trauma? Where is the sheer panic attack of coming face-to-face with your killer. Doesn't matter if it's justified execution, ending up with your killer is totally crazy.

UNLESS the MC is totaly psycho. Is there a story like that? Just MC plain and simply obsessed with the person who killed them?

EXACTLY! If I was in that position, I'd hate them on principle. Doesn't matter if they haven't done anything yet. Doesn't matter if they're good people. Just, nope. The guy would be a constant reminder of days of anxiety waiting for the chopping block, so to speak. I just can't find myself liking those stories at all =_=

The author makes the killer look pitiful by putting a past story that made their actions reasonable lol. People hype up those stories a lot that’s why it’s so popular & bc well I guess the author wants to write that

This is what people complain in beyond memories (go read it) they say they don't like how uke would go back to ml but the thing is it's the seme who goes back in time for uke to fix his mistakes
