This is what I call "useless drama", this bs purpose was only to make the bitchy duke (Ian’s sperm donor) come to the academy
I know right can't they just instead use Ian to come to the academy like make it like the duke feeling something is wrong with his curse artifact that why he visit and use a pretext that he miss his son or something, he has a son on the academy they can make excuse to bring him there

My thoughts exactly. I'm more worried that so called teacher couldn't stop her..... I mean you are a teacher its your job to teach... Second issue there is no mention of informing duke of it but they went ahead and informed someone unrelated? Also there were no rumors abput her being cruel or anything why go straight to assume that she is dangerous... This does not make any sense... They could use the appearance of other duke with already existing conflict which was kinds trying to bully her - making retaliation for the humiliation they suffered and they meet in principals office with duke Rodwick being late by accident or something like this... So frustrated...
Fr! And they gonna use an ability on her? Isn’t it bare minimum to inform both her and her guardian about it? And ask for consent? It’s him who put her in that department anyways, this headmaster just does whatever he wants. So annoying
If she can't control her powers it's obviously you need to teach her your a teacher it's your job you can't expect a new student to already know how to control it and just because she came from a powerful family you'll prevent her to learn? How stupid is that
