Do remember that the og soul was in love with the guy for more than a decade AND she was trying to give off the impression that she’s “moving on”, not that she was fully over him to make it more convincing. So it makes sense that he thinks she’s still in love with him because what she was portraying is a woman who is still in love and trying to move on.
